I run for fitness!
This is my inspire blog.
I wont be posting on this blog much more, but I'll leave it as it is.
It helped me to understand that strength is more important than being "skinny" or seeing a low number on the scale, but I need to worry about my health as well as my daily life, and looking at pictures of perfect bodies isn't what I need anymore.
Please continue to follow me, in a more personal way, at my new blog:
I spent years on this blog. Posting ‘fitspiration’ and re-blogging the success of real women. While I’m happy to have posted things which positively inspired others, I’m hoping these pictures didn’t lead anyone to feel negatively about themselves. Health is important, nutrition is important, and activity is important. But spending hours looking at ‘perfect’ bodies and comparing them to your own is no way to live.
If you want health advice, start by understanding that there are a lot of ways to be healthy and happy! Spend these years of your lives spending time and energy on whom and what you love, not obsessing over your ‘less than perfect’ body!
Much love for you in 2014. You are not a failure. You are you, which is literally just who you should be.
